SiC and GaN semiconductors improve the performance of power electronics systems beyond the limits of traditional silicon-based designs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re working to make these WBG semiconductor technologies cost-competitive with traditional power electronics and reduce the perceived risk that&#8217;s inherent with this new technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the backing of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/\">Department of Energy<\/a> and the expertise of top researchers, we exchange knowledge and processes \u2014 and provide unparalleled access to an educated workforce.
