With a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), Yang Lu is an experienced higher education research administration professional specializing in research financial management, compliance, and sponsored programs administration. She has extensive experience managing complex funding portfolios supported by federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and industry partners, providing financial oversight and strategic guidance to ensure regulatory compliance, fiscal accountability, and effective stewardship of research funds.

Prior to her current role, Yang Lu served as the University of Florida’s primary liaison for sponsored projects property, collaborating closely with federal agencies and auditor, including the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and the National Science Foundation (NSF), to maintain compliance with federal regulations and safeguard institutional research assets.
