Victor Veliadis Receives Honorary Service Recognition at I.S.E.S. Meeting

At I.S.E.S. USA Power 2025, the International Semiconductor Industry Group recognized PowerAmerica's Executive Director and CTO for his contributions to the advancement of wide-bandgap power semiconductor technologies.

Victor Veliadis, executive director and chief technical officer of PowerAmerica, received an Honorary Service Recognition at I.S.E.S. USA Power 2025, hosted in Silicon Valley, California, from April 14-15.

USA Power 2025, we were proud to present the Honorary Service Recognition to Victor Veliadis, Ph.D., Executive Director & CTO of PowerAmerica — in acknowledgment of his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing wide-bandgap power semiconductor technologies,” the International Semiconductor Industry Group wrote in a LinkedIn post announcing the achievement.

Under Veliadis’ leadership, PowerAmerica has catalyzed the commercialization of SiC and GaN technologies across the U.S — building bridges across industry, academia and national labs.

Veliadis, a professor of electrical and computer engineering at NC State University, is a recognized IEEE Fellow and National Academy of Inventors Fellow.
